Hagan to Join Secretary of Homeland Security, Secretary of Agriculture and Gov. Perdue on Outer Banks Tour

Senator Hagan will continue her tour of hurricane-affected communities in eastern North Carolina today. This afternoon, Hagan will join Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, and Governor Bev Perdue for an aerial tour of damage from Hurricane Irene along the Outer Banks. The tour will be followed by a briefing for the news media at the Dare County Administration Building.


Earlier today, Hagan toured East Carolina University and discussed recovery efforts with the Chancellor's Chief of Staff Phillip Rogers.
