Hagan to tour Mayberry Solar Farm in Mount Airy

Hagan on Tuesday will tour Mayberry Solar Farm in Mount Airy, a key example of renewable energy innovation in North Carolina. The solar farm generates enough electricity to power 150 homes in Surry County. It was completed in October 2011 through the USDA's Rural Energy For America Program (REAP), which Hagan supported in the Senate.
